Swiss-Georgian Vocational Agriculture College set to Open in Dmanisi

The first Swiss-Georgian VET college will soon be open in Dmanisi welcoming the first batch of students from Fall semester 2020.
The college in Dmanisi will be modeled after the Swiss vocational education college Plantahof, which is behind the premium quality Swiss cheese and highly developed livestock sector in Switzerland.

On February 10-12, Swiss Agricultural School Caucasus (SACS) organized a study trip to Switzerland for Georgian counterparts from SACS, UNDP, SDC and IFAD.

Plantahof, with its 200 years of experience of training livestock and Swiss cheese professionals stands ready to support this unique Georgian-Swiss partnership to launch vocational school in Dmanisi in accordance to Swiss standards.
